For most musicians, chamber music is the ultimate music to perform. In founding the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, my goal is to bring that sense of intimacy, individuality and excitement to the concert stage.
The power of the conductorless chamber orchestra lies in its flexibility, and the reliance on not just one musician calling the shots, but the cumulative strength of all the musicians. Call it chamber music, on steroids.
From the platform of a small orchestra, we present music from over six centuries: from string quartets to symphonies, from 17th-century polyphony to 21st-century premiers.
I invite you to come hear for yourself. I promise you won't regret it.
